Island is located in the center of the Chesapeake Bay about 8 miles west of
the town of Crisfield. The Island is accessible only by boat. You can
arrive via your own boat or catch one of the Ferry or mail boats leaving the
Crisfield City docks every day. The Island lies between two bodies of
water the Great Chesapeake Bay and the Tangier Sound. There is a main
thoroughfare that cuts through the center of the Island, allowing access
from the bay or sound.
