DIRECTIONS TO SMITH ISLAND

Here are some directions how you can get to me on Smith Island:

  • From Washington & Baltimore cross the Bay Bridge and continue south on the Eastern Shore via of US Rt. 50 to Salisbury. Continue south on US Rt. 13 to Maryland Rt. 413 at Westover, follow Rt.413 south to Crisfield.
     

  • From Philadelphia take US Rt. 13 south to the intersection of Maryland Rt. 413 and continue to Crisfield.
     

  • From the Norfolk area take US Rt. 13 north to Pocomoke City Maryland, continue on 13 and after crossing the  Pocomoke River Bridge, go two miles and  turn left on Maryland Rt. 667. Follow this route to the town of Marion Station Maryland and the intersection of Maryland Rt. 413. Turn left and continue south to Crisfield.

  • The nonvehicular ferries are available, departures from Crisfield are usually 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Here is a list of the island ferries and their phone numbers to check departure's and rates. The captains can also arrange parking for your car also.
